- Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for fixed-wing air ambulance services for the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (SFVAMC) and Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System (VAPAHCS). Travel will include ALS, BLS, or CCT services for one-way (patient-leg only) transportation to or from the medical centers listed above or closest airport to a hospital or medical facility within the State of California. There may be occasional travel to neighboring states or to the State of Hawaii. The solicitation number for this RFQ VA261-15-R-0989. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 4, 2015, with an anticipated quote due date of October 9, 2015. The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins on or about November 1, 2015 through October 31, 2016 with four (4) one year option periods. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 621910, size standard $15 million. The Government anticipates award of one Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm-Fixed Price contract. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Nicole.do@va.gov not later than October 6, 2015 at 4:00 PM HST. Note: SDVOSB firms must be registered at the time of quote submission and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry http://www.vetbiz.gov/ Vendors not registered in the VetBiz Registry at the time of quote submission will not be considered for award.
