- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-15-Q-0083 is being issued as a request for quote; however, the US Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc., 103 Innovation Blvd., State College, PA 16803. Authority cited: Statutory Authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(C) (1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1(a)(2) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled quote mark When the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or, for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for quote mark. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. This requirement, which was previously purchased under purchase order W31P4Q-13-P-0053, includes the following: 10 each of RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. EMI Gel gaskets shall be used between all milled materials for EMI shielding. Finish shall be clear Chromate per MIL-C-5541, Class 3. Approximate dimensions are 10.30 quote mark H X 5.85 quote mark W X 7.30 quote mark L - this does not include the MIL connectors extension out of the system. The place of delivery, acceptance and FOB point is: US Army RDECOM, SED RDMR-BAS Building 6263, Hackberry Road Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5260 The anticipated period of performance is 60 working days from the date of award for the delivery of 10 each of RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. Digital Analog Interface Box Version M and 12 months from the date of hardware delivery for Product Warranty. The following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) will be included in the subsequent award: -CLIN 0001 - RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. Digital Analog Interface Box Version M (with 12 Months Warranty) All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or weeks from award date. Quotes are due no later than 3:00 pm (CST), 01 September 2015, in the contracting office. Electronic quotes are preferred, but fax quotes and mailed quotes will be accepted.
