- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center anticipates the award of a fixed-price contract for Bulk Oxygen. The Contractor shall supply medical grade bulk oxygen to the medical center. The need involves the rental of a primary tank for the West Palm Beach VAMC location with a capacity of 6000 gallons and rental of a reserve tank with a 1500 gallon capacity. Interested contractors shall include all required components of the bulk oxygen supply, connection to VAMC's existing oxygen system, preventive maintenance, annual training, inventory management of the bulk systems, and all necessary documentation. The supply systems shall be located at the existing location at the VAMC in West Palm Beach, Florida. The system shall be maintained to ensure uninterrupted supply of oxygen to the medical center. More detailed information about the requirement will be included in the solicitation, and is anticipated to be released on or about August 25, 2015. The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at www.fbo.gov. No hardcopies will be available. The contract will consist of a base year and four option years. This acquisition is anticipated to be a 100% SDVOSB Set Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325120 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website at: www.fedbizopps.gov frequently to obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract award. Contractors may access SAM at https://www.sam.gov. All Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) shall be verified in VetBiz www.vip.vetbiz.gov.
