- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation W9127Q-15-T-0184, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83. The NAICS code is 333922 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: *Line Items below must be in compliance with attached Specifications Line Item 1)Vertical Carousel Storage Unit, 1 each; Provide and install one Vertical Carousel Storage Unit in accordance with attached specifications. Line Item 2)Vertical Carousel Storage Unit, 2 each; Provide and install one Vertical Carousel Storage Unit in accordance with attached specifications. Line Item 3)Provide Training to Operators. Line Item 4) Remove existing three Kardex units to include removal of current shelving from work area and reinstallation of shelving in work area when completed. Disposal of Kardex units will be performed by 172nd personnel A site visit will be held for this requirement at 172d Airlift Wing, 141 Military Drive, Jackson, MS 39232-8881, 01 September 2015, 9:00 A.M. local time. Contact SSgt Leslie George, 601-405-8341, for security requirements to access the location. Tour of site is not mandatory, but is recommended to familiarize the offeror with existing features that will affect the work. Offerors shall verify all dimensions; determine all quantities of materials and devices necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the intent of the specifications. Failure of the successful offeror to perform such a visit shall not relieve him from furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and devices necessary to complete the work or from making changes necessitated by site conditions. Submittal of offer will serve as prima facie evidence that the offeror has taken into account site conditions. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or gray market items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty Quote MUST be good through 30 September 2015. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. Proposals will be evaluated based on price and conformance to the attached specifications. Proposals that do not conform to the attached specifications will not be acceptable. All firms must be registered in the System of Acquisition Management database @ www.sam.gov and shall be considered for award. SAM is a mandatory requirement for all DOD Government contracts.
