Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs will be soliciting for Wildlife and Pond Management Services for the Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, VA 24153. This requirement shall include such tasks as: setting traps, humane disposal of nuisance animals in accordance with American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) regulations, restocking of fish, and providing algaecide to ponds. This requirement shall be performed under the requirements of the Virginia Department Game and Inland Fisheries Commercial Nuisance Annual Permit. The period of performance is October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016 with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. This is a 100% small business set-aside. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 114210 Exterminating and Pest Control Services, size standard $5.5 Million. Solicitation Issue Date: A Request for Quote will be issued on or about August 25, 2015.
