- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis, to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Austin, TX (CAGE: 19397) to provide repair services to include inspection, calibration, labor and materials necessary to restore parts associated with (2) each Countermeasure Test Set(s) P/N 188100-7001 to full operational condition and to ensure Fleet readiness. BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration is the only known source capable of maintaining configuration control throughout the repair and is the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the Government's specific requirements and mission for this procurement without modifications to existing components. BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Countermeasure Test Set. The repair services to be provided by the OEM are the only known repair services that will meet operational and reliability requirements as well as have the capability to fully integrate with these Test Sets. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) ( https://www.sam.gov ) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit an award of a contract.
