- Revised Attachment JB-2. ***SPECIAL NOTICE*** ***REVISED DATE FOR INDUSTRY DAY AND DUE DATE FOR UNIFORM SAMPLES*** Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Property Management Branch (PMB) Arc Flash Uniforms and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Industry Day Arc Flash Uniforms and Personal Protection & Equipment (PPE) Industry Day DESCRIPTION : Washington Headquarters Services will be conducting a Small Business Industry Outreach Day on September 2, 2015 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm EST at the Pentagon Reservation located in Arlington, Virginia 20301. WHEN : Wednesday, September 2, 2015 TIME : 8:00am-12:00pm EST (all attendees must arrive at 8:00am) WHERE : Pentagon Reservation, Arlington, VA 20301 OBJECTIVE : The objective of this conference is to enhance Small Business Participation for the Arc Flash Uniform and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) FY16 Procurement Opportunity for Providers of Arc Flash Uniforms and Personal Protection & Equipment (PPE). In order to participate in this Industry Day, participants MUST pre-register at whs.pentagon.ad.mbx.efcd@mail.mil no later than Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1:00pm EST with the following information: 1. Completed Industry Questionnaires (Attachment J-B1) 2. Capability Statement, which should include: a. Name and address of firm b. Point of contact with name, title, phone, and email c. DUNS number and/or CAGE code d. Indicate socio-economic status with applicable NAICs e. Security Clearance. Indicate whether your firm currently possesses, have possessed in the past, or have never possessed a DoD Industrial Security Facility Clearance at the SECRET level. This statement will be verified with Defense Security Services. f. Description of the firm's capability to successfully support the requirement. g. List of names of the maximum of two (2) company representatives 3. Due to space limitations, no more than two attendees from each company will be permitted to attend. In addition, due to the high level of security to enter the facility, late arrivals cannot be accommodated. 4. This Industry Day event is open to all interested parties that can provide Arc Flash Uniforms and Personal Protection and Equipment (PPE) ONLY. Registration will be based on a first come, first served basis. Once the pre-registration date and time has closed, late respondents and non-registered individuals WILL NOT be accommodated. 5. Attendance at the scheduled Industry Day and any discussions or release of information is strictly voluntary. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred for travel or participation in this Industry Day. 6. The agenda will include a meet and greet by the PMB Branch Chief Mr. Kenneth Gordon. Attendees will be provided the opportunity to showcase their uniforms and PPE, as well as have discussions with the requiring activity, PMB, to discuss the types of Arc Flash Uniforms available and the company provided services. IMPORTANT: In order to participate in the Industry Day, Vendors MUST have their uniform samples mailed to the Reservation, at the provided address for inspection no later than 27 August 2015. The required samples, delivery and return instructions can be found in Attachment J-B2. ***NOTE: Vendors will NOT be allowed to bring articles into the Pentagon for this Vendor Day. Any items required for your showcase should be pre-delivered per the instructions** 7.
