Description

Cowlitz Valley Tree Fertilization Solicitation The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract tree fertilization services on the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District. This contract requires hand application of pellet fertilizer and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications and provisions. This includes furnishing fertilizer, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals except those items listed as Government-furnished property There are 144 acres in the base items and an additional approximately 112 acres in option items. All of the the Option Items may or may not be awarded depending on the availability of funds. This commercial acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 115310- Support Activities for Forestry. The corresponding size standard is $7.5 million. Offerors will be evaluated on technical capability (experience), past performance and price. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. A solicitation for this project, following the procedures of FAR Part 12 for the procurement of Commercial Items, will be posted to with this sysnopsis/solicitation.
