- Environmental Requirements Package VI. Notification of Compliance with Contract Insurance Requirements V. General Financial Organizational Information IV. Timber Sale Instruction Package III. Solicitation II. Bid and Award Sheet - Sale of Government Property I. Cover Letter - Sale of Government Property For Sale - Pine and Hardwood Timber: Harvesting of selected Pine trees in Forest Record Unit #17 and Forest Record Unit # 38 as specified in the Special conditions of Sale. The sale consists of approximately 2,535 pine sawtimber trees containing an estimated 943,029 board feet Doyle Scale. Log scales based on Form Class 80 for pine. The timber to be harvested is located on approximately 50 acres in Forest Unit #17 and 35 acres in Forest Unit #38 of the East Reservation, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana as indicated on Map Drawings B16-1, B16-2 and B16-3. A 10% bid deposit will be required. This agency will consider a bid from all responsible sources. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available; interested parties will have to download the solicitation package. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 113310 with size standard 500 people. In order to be awarded a contract with the federal government, vendors must be registered at www.sam.gov {(FAR 52.204-7, System For Award Management (SAM) - it takes 4 - 10 days to get registered)}.
