Description

1)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2)This solicitation, VA257-15-Q-1490, is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in anticipation of a firm fixed price contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 3)The estimated period of performance is September 04, 2015 through September 10, 2015. The place of performance is South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Audie L. Murphy Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in San Antonio, TX, 78229-4404. The contracting office is Network Contracting Office 17, VISN 17, Network Contracting Activity, located at 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229. 4)DATE & TIME FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS: Offers must be submitted via email before 2:00PM Central Standard Time (CST) on September 01, 2015, to Victor Hinojosa, at victor.hinojosa@va.gov. Offers that are mailed, faxed or late will not be accepted. The contracting office intends to award a firm fixed price contract based on the evaluation factors listed in the solicitation. The resulting contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal conforms to this combined synopsis/solicitation, is found responsible, and provides the best value based on the evaluation factors in the solicitation. 5)All questions and inquiries about this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email to Mr. Hinojosa at the above email on or before August 26, 2015, 1:00PM CST. Answers will be provided August 27, 2015 12:00PM CST. All responses to questions which may affect the preparation of offers will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation issued via FedBizOpps. 6)A planned site visit is schedule for August 25, 2015, 9:00AM CST. The designated meeting location is the flag pole in front of Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital San Antonio, Texas 78229. All interested parties attending must have their representative present, and on time. Interested parties that show up late will not be permitted to attend the site visit because of time constraints, but are permitted to bid and email questions. See attached RFQ VA257-15-Q-1490
