Description
Criminal Violations and Tax Delinquency Air Force Fiscal Year 2016 Young Investigator Research Program The Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) manages the basic research investment for the U.S. Air Force (USAF). As a part of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), AFOSR’s technical experts foster and fund research within the Air Force Research Laboratory, universities, and industry laboratories to ensure the transition of research results to support USAF needs. Using a carefully balanced research portfolio, research managers seek to create revolutionary scientific breakthroughs, enabling the Air Force and U.S. industry to produce world-class, militarily significant, and commercially valuable products. The Young Investigator Research Program (YIP) supports young scientists and engineers in Air Force relevant disciplines and is designed to promote innovative research in science and engineering. The awards foster creative basic research in science and engineering, enhance early career development of outstanding young investigators, and increase opportunities to recognize Air Force mission and challenges in science and engineering.
