- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial supplies as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to competitively award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for: The scope of this contract will be to assist NSWCCD-SSES with the installation of the government furnished equipment for the ERD modification of 36,000 gal/day SWRO plant on LSD-45. The ERD modification will include removal of the legacy high pressure pump, accumulator, pump skid, the cascade orifice restrictive device (CORD) unit, backpressure valve, and associated piping. The ERD pumping system, consisting of the smaller high pressure pump, ERD, motors, hoses, piping, fittings, base plate, VFD, and system control panel modifications necessary for installation on the LSD-45 SWRO unit. Support for equipment light-off and replacement of cartridge filters and RO elements following installation will also be required. Any additional specifications for the supply items will be listed with the posting of the solicitation. The required delivery of the service is 30 days after date of award. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 336611 with a size standard of 1000. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation Request for Quote N65540-15-T-5451, which will be posted to the Fed Biz Opps website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on Vendors), at least 15 days after posting of this notice.
