Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs will be soliciting for Integrated Pest Management Services for the Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, VA 24153. A Request for Quote will be issued on or about August 24, 2015. This requirement shall be performed by certified, trained and licensed pest control operators. All pest management applicators will be certified to operate and perform services by the State of Virginia in all categories required. All Integrated Pest Management (IPM) tasks shall be accomplished to meet the guidelines as shown in National Pest Control Associations good practice statement. The period of performance is October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016 with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. This is a 100% small business set-aside. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 561710 Exterminating and Pest Control Services, size standard $11.0 Million.
