- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/Notice of Intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number NIAID-NOI-15-1749716-22 is issued as a Notice of Intent for Brand Name. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC2005-83 dated August 3, 2015. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516, which has a size standard of 500. The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in support of Vaccine Research Center has a sole source brand name requirement to procure from Pall ForteBio Corp., 1360 Willow Rd. Ste 201, Menlo Park, CA, 94025-1524 the following items: Item/Description/Quantity : 1) AR2G (case of 5 sensors) 2) AR2G-Amine Coupling (case of 1920 sensors) 3) Anti-His1 (His2) - (Case of 1920 sensors) 4) NiNTA biosensor (Case of 1920 sensors) 5) Anti-Human IgG Fc Capture (Case of 1920 sensors) The biosensors are designed for EDC/Sulfo-NHS based immobilization for kinetic characterization of primary amine-containing biomolecules. The aR2G achieves greater signal intensity than the amine reactive (AR) biosensors during the loading (immobilization of ligand) and association (detection of analyze) steps of an assay while delivering the same precise and reliable kinetic values. These particular reagents are needed for the use with our Octet System. Any other variables may effect and void the manufacturer warranty. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: 1) capability to meet the required specifications, 2) price, and 3) delivery. Place of delivery Bethesda, Maryland 20892. The government will award a fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor able to deliver brand name or equal, FAR 52.211-6. The FOB point shall be Destination.
