- Approved Justification for Use of Non Competitive Procedures The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a modification to a sole source purchase order awarded to Giant Oak, Inc. located at: 4601 N. FAIRFAX DRIVE, SUITE 1200 ARLINGTON, VA 22203. The proposed purchase order modification is for large volume data analysis of DEA environments and the development of current analytics, data sources, and products for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Giant Oak, 4601 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 1200, Arlington, VA 22031 under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed acquisition is a continuation of a follow-on requirement. Giant Oak through its initial efforts under Phase I at DEA has the capability to enhance the analytical environment in a design document to optimize and improve DEA's data performance. This modification will allow performance to continue as the DEA continues ongoing efforts to issue a competitive solicitation. A Justification for Use of Noncompetitive Procedures has been certified and approved and is posted at this time. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541690, "other scientific and technical consulting services" and the Small Business Size Standard is $14 million. The Government anticipates the modification of the purchase order with a period of performance of one year. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be made available. The closing date is for this notice is 08/26/2015.
