- Notice Type: Synopsis The Government is contemplating the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement to supply Thermocouple HousingSteel - AISI 4340, Vacuum Arc Remelted (VAR) or Vacuum Degassed (4 Ea.)/Thermocouple Locking NutSteel AISI 4340, Vacuum Arc Remelted (VAR) or Vacuum Degassed (4 Ea.)/Stainless Steel Linear Squeezing Gland Steel, 17-4 PH, H 1150 - (14 Ea.), Stainless Steel Thermocouple Clamp, and Molybdenum Lanthanum (ML) Oxide Thermocouple Tubes (2 and 14 Ea.). Supplied parts are export controlled and thus the fabricator/business must be registered in the DLA Logistics Information Services Joint Certification Program (DLIS Certified). Only those businesses that are DLIS Certified will have access to restricted material. Fabricator shall supply written material certification to include chemical composition, yield strength, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity and percent elongation. Fabricator shall supply 100% inspection report for each part. Fabricator shall supply certification of compliance. Inspection reports to be linked to individual parts by identification numbers. This action will be 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332710 with business size of 500 employees. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to AEDC-White Oak, Bldg 405, 10905 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20903-1050. Estimated Delivery Date: 90-Calendar Days After Award Request for Proposal will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page at http://www.fbo.gov.or about 4 Sep 2015. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of the contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM)database prior to award of a contract.
