Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY, this is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs, Huntington VA Medical Center has a requirement for transitional housing for up to 90 days for homeless veterans. The potential contractor must be ADA compliant. They will be required to provide therapeutic and rehabilitative services but not be required to provide detoxification or other hospital level treatment. All requirements will be set forth in the formal solicitation. The resultant contract will be for one year from date of award. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 621420 with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. A Firm Fixed Price, RFQ Solicitation will be issued electronically through Fed Biz Opportunities (FBO) on or about August 25, 2015 as Full and Open Competition. All potential Offeror's MUST be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) site, https://www.sam.gov, at time of award. The point of contact for this action is Ms. Katrina Cruz, Katrina.Cruz@va.gov. Contractors shall not contact any other Government personnel regarding this notice. Contacting any Government personnel other than the individual designated above may result in an organizational conflict of interest and may result in a contractor being excluded from the competition and consideration for this award.
