- Sole Source Justification THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The USDA/ARS intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to: Energin.R Technologies 2009 LTD NRGene 3 Golda Meir Ness Ziona, Israel 007403648 The objective of this sole source award is to procure mango genome sequencing. This requirement will be to construct long scaffolds from short Illumina reads for the Tommy Atkins mango genome. The genome size is approximately 500Mb. Generate 1.5Gb of coverage. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541712; the small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 8:00 AM Central Daylight Time on September 8, 2015 will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Josh Dobereiner at josh.dobereiner@ars.usda.gov. The email subject line shall state, "AG-32SC-S-15-0057, Notice of Intent to Sole Source." A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
