Description

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate on other than full and open competition the purchase for Leica HyD detector from Leica Microsystems Inc., 14008 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693. (01) Andor Ixon 888 USB 3.0 1K X 1K EMCCD Item# 8106163: EMCCD is a quantitative digital camera technology that is capable of detecting single photon events while maintaining high Quantum Efficiency, achievable by way of a unique electron multiplying structure built into the sensor. The camera must must be able to be operated by LASX software. The Andor Ixon 888 DU-888U3-CSO-#BV is the only camera that meets these specifications. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. All responses shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM eastern standard time August 31, 2015 to Lisa Hinton 5601 Fishers Lane, Suite 3A68, Rockville, MD 20852 email, hintonl@mail.nih.gov.
