- Sole Source NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent to Sole Source is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.203, Publicizing and Response Time. The authority for this award is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - only one source is reasonably available to satisfy the requirement. The Naval Special Warfare Group FOUR has a requirement for one (1) exercise recovery physiological monitoring equipment in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In support of its mission, NSW intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract to Omegawave, Inc., 700 Cross Creek Dr., Roseburg, OR 97471 per the attached justification. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 511210. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement will be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, any requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via e-mail to warcom.contracts@navsoc.socom.mil within four (4) business days from the date of this notice. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. All contractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to Performance Designs, Inc..
