- Amendment 0001 for W91ZLK-15-T-0235 is issued to provide answers to questions. The closing date of the solicitation remains the same at 28 August 2015, 3:00 p.m., Daylight Saving Time (DST). The purpose of this Solicitation Amendment 0001 is provide answers to questions as follows: Question #1. Is there a previous contract for this equipment? If so, can you provide the contract number? The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-15-T-0235 used as a request for proposal (RFP). The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland intends to issue a Competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside requirement. The requirement is under the associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Business Size Standard (in millions) is 20.50 Other Electronic & Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price type contract, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This requirement is not being procured in accordance with FAR Part 8 and only Open Market, NOT General Service Administration GSA quotations are being accepted from responsible contractors. Description of Requirement: This requirement is for Preventative Maintenance and Service Support for seven (7) Light Cycler Instruments and one (1) MagNa Pure LC in support of the United States Health Command (USAPHC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The instruments are trademarks of Roche. The service and maintenance to be conducted by the contractor are to include unlimited technical phone support, loaner instruments if the repair cannot be performed over the phone, free shipping for loaner and serviced instruments and warranty parts for equipment located at Aberdeen Proving Ground - Maryland and various regions, see Statement of Work (SOW), Attachment#1.
