- CRITICAL LOAD PANEL AND CABLES FOR DAVIS DAM Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 08/24/2015 - Amendment 1 updates the Specifications to include more information on the requirements for the Critical Load Panel. The revised specs may be accessed at FedConnect.net, clicking on "Search Public Opportunities Only", searching by "Reference Number" for R15PS01682, and clicking on the "R15PS01682_Amendment1Package" attachement on the right side of the page. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a request for quote (RFQ No. R15PS01682) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-83. (iv) This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 335313, Switchgear and Switchboard Apparatus Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 335313 is 750 employees. (v) Line item 0001 - 1 EA, Critical Load Panel. The Specifications Attachment provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. Line item 0002 - Multiple Quantities, Copper Cables (Multiple Sizes). The Specifications Attachment provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for a contractor to deliver a Critical Load Panel and multiple sizes and quantities of Copper Cable to Davis Dam. (vii) Work shall begin on or about Friday, September 18, 2015. All items shall be delivered on or before Friday, February 26, 2016. Items shall be delivered to Davis Dam, Bullhead City, AZ 86429. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this commercial item acquisition: (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (ix) Determination of award will be based on the lowest-priced responsive quote from a responsible offeror.
