Description
(Subject Continued) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. US Army requires barcoded primers for an Army medical research lab in Silver Spring, MD. Please submit quote by 9AM EDT 31 Aug 2015. Minimal Essential Characteristics - Barcoded Primers 1. Primers (aka oligonucleotides) must contain a phosphorylated 5' (five-prime) modification. 2. Primers must contain a 3' (three prime) phosphorothioate modification. 3. HPLC or PAGE purification options must be available during synthesis (HPLC is sufficient). Cartridge purification is also acceptable. 4. Primers must be normalized to 100 M in either a lyophilized or an acceptable working solution (i.e. Tris pH 8.0 buffer; water or TE buffer is not acceptable). 5. Vendor must be able to provide primers containing 75 base pairs 6. Vendor must take synthesis orders on-line 7. Vendors must be able to synthesize a sufficient number of primers to result in 384 unique barcode reads (i.e. minimum 40 primers) to be synthesized, purified, and shipped within 14 business days of receipt of order. 8. Primers must be supplied in individual tubes or on a plate with removable individual tubes/wells. 9. The requirement is for a base year and 4 option years; a total of 5 years.
