- Security Cameras The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential Small Business sources possessing the expertise, capabilities and experience necessary to provide Service, Repair, and Installation of MARAD Layberth Security Cameras located in the Division of Atlantic Operations (DAO); Division of Gulf Operations (DGO) and the Division of Pacific Operations (DPO) under the Maritime Administration (MARAD). Our intent is to cut down on travel cost. We will be selecting one vendor that has a base company with satellite offices in each area, or several vendors that are located in the areas stated above. Per your response, let me know what areas you can provide service. A draft Statement of Work is attached. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 with a small business size standard of $20.5M. Interested parties should identify their interest by submitting a capability statement and business size status (Ex., Small Business, Small-Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, etc.). Your capability statements should consist of no more than 10 single-sided pages, using single-spaced lines, and a 12 point font. All submissions should be submitted to Katina Barham at Katina.Barham@dot.gov by 4:00 p.m. local time on September 4, 2015. This notice IS NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB).The RFP and any related documents for this procurement will be made available at www.fbo.gov on or about September 10, 2015. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FBO for release of all pertinent procurement documents or updates to this program. Potential offerors are cautioned that in order to be eligible for an award, they must have an active System for Award Management (SAM) profile prior to contract award. https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. To help small businesses gain access to the financing they need to participate in transportation-related contracts, OSDBU's Financial Assistance Division manages the Short-Term Lending Program (STLP). STLP provides certified DBE's and other certified small businesses short term working capital financing at competitive interest rates for DOT or DOT funded contracts and subcontracts.
