Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22, 4811 Airport Plaza Drive, Suite 600, Long Beach, CA 90815, is issuing this special notice to inform industry contractors of the intent to execute a Single Source award as prescribed in FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) with iMedRis Data Corporation, 445 Missouri Ct., Redlands, CA 92373. This requirement is to provide the program management support and annual maintenance for the iMedRis IRB Assistant Software, IACUC Assistant Module, and R&D Assistant Module. The iMedRis program management support and annual maintenance will include, but not limited to the following: I.All labor, parts, equipment, travel, and technical expertise for the program management support II.Program support for forms management via webinar III.General staff training via webinar IV.General iRis support via webinar V.Full TMS interface / integration with CITI VI.On-site two (2) day training by iMedRis VII.Technical Support VIII.Customer Support IX.Software updates /upgrades This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award and an anticipated award date is set for 9/1/2015. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 511210, Software Publishers. The Small Business Administration size standard for this sector is $38.5 million. The proposed period of performance will be from 9/1/2015 through 8/31/2016. The place of performance is as follows: VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. 7th St., Long Beach, CA 90822. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer to solicit from one source. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responsible sources must be certified by iMedRis and provide a certification from iMedRis that they are authorized to perform these services and have access to iMedRis updates.
