- Renovate interior of a housing unit in Badlands National Park, Interior, SD. This project involves the purchase and installation of various items related to remodel construction in Quarters #30 a park housing unit. Quarters #30 is a three bedroom single family residence of approximately 1,460 square feet. Construction related work involves fire suppression system installation, sheet rock, tape and texture, installation of exterior doors to include sliding glass door, entrance doors, and storm doors, install trim baseboard, kitchen wall cabinets base cabinets and counter top, install flooring to include solid red oak hardwood and vinyl snap lock planking, install existing HVAC unit, and install ductwork for HVAC system. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. NAICS Code: 236118 (size standard $36.5M), PSC: Z2FA. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for Jackson County shall apply. The magnitude of this project is $25,000 to $100,000. The National Park Service, Midwest Region (MWR), NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to award a firm-fixed price, construction contract in response to this solicitation. Offerors must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications in SAM, in order to be eligible for award. An organized site visit has been scheduled for -- Monday, August 17th, 2015 at 11am Mountain Time Participants will meet at -- Quarters 30, Badlands National Park 25216 Ben Reifel Rd. Interior, SD 57750 (Jackson County) Directions from Rapid City, SD: Take I-90 eastbound to exit 131 (Cactus Flats). Turn south on Highway 240, drive 10 miles to Ben Reifel Visitor Center. Turn south on Ben Reifle Road (pavement road running north-south) on the west side of the visitor center. Drive 1/4 mile south, turn left onto Ben Reifel Place (housing area). Drive east on Ben Reifel Place to 25230 Ben Reifel Place, the house to the southeast with a double garage.
