- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005 83 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with SYSTEMS FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer. The closing date and time for receipt of quote is September 11, 2015 at 1400/2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This solicitation will result in a FIRM FIXED PRICE type contract. Delivery will be FOB Destination prices. The delivery will be for all material to be delivered on or about 30 days after receipt of order; to VA Medical Center Bldg 101 warehouse 10000 Bay Pines Blvd Bay Pines, Fl 33744. The solicitation number VA248-15-Q-11581, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). No telephone requests will be accepted. Only written requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. It is the Offerors responsibility to ensure that the quote is received. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-83.The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code FSC FSC: 3565 (NAICS) is 333911, Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing ; and the Small Business size is 500 employees. This requirement is being set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business participation only. Only qualified Offerors may submit quotes. Offers' shall submit quotes on solicitation VA248-15-Q-11581. Quotes must be submitted electronically via email to James.Roberts2@va.gov The Subject Line of your email shall state: RFQ VA248-15-Q-11581 Quote Submission" DESCRIPTION: 1.Submersible non clog sewage pump with 40ft power cable, 460 volt 3 Phase P/N: AV432-185/38.2P/C XP MFG: Homa Pump Technology Qty 1 ea 2.Mops Pump station submersible sewage grinder bare sewage grinder with 40ft power cable Qty 1 ea Offers of "equal" products - Offeror must clearly indicate in its offer that the product being offered is an"equal" product. The "equal" product must have the same physical, functional, or performance characteristics as items requested. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Bid must be valid for 60 calendar days after close of solicitation.
