Amendment 002 **Amendment 002: The purpose of this amendment is to remove the factory testing and factory test report from the solicitation and amend required submission # 1.** END TEXT **Amendment 001: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for quoters to provide a written request to complete factory testing and extend the due date for quotations. ** END TEXT THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-83, effective July 2, 2015. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is being procured using full-and-open competition. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized.
