Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Invitation for Bid (IFB) 100% Set-Aside for Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). Description of Work: This is a (firm fixed price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, management, supervision, tools, transportation and other incidental items to emplace a fence that provides added security and visibility while still offering access to mowers located near the Grow The Army (GTA) area, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. 1.1 Furnish and install chain link fence: Approximately 770' x 6' Height Green PVC Coated Chain Link Fencing with one (1) 16' x 6' Ht. Green PVC Coated Chain Link Double Swing Gate and one 4' x 6' Ht. Green PVC coated single swing man gate. To include 2-78 quote mark OD Schedule 40 Terminal post, 2-3/8 quote mark OD schedule 40 line post, 4 quote mark OD schedule 40 Gate post, 1-5/8 quote mark schedule 40 top rail & intermediate brace, 9 gauge core and 8 gauge finish Chain link PVC coated fabric, & 7 gauge bottom tension wire, and concrete footings. 1.2 Additional Notes: Climate requires materials be resistant to elements. Metal materials should resist rust and corrosion. All materials will be commercial grate, Green PVC fused bonded.
