Description

1.Contractor shall perform abatementment of floor tiles and mastic in Rooms D135(113 sqft), D137(109 sqft), D139(108 sqft), D141 (116 sqft), D143 (116 sqft), D145 (116 sqft), D147 (116 sqft), D149 (122 sqft) in Bldg. 1. 2.Contractor shall perform abatementment of floor tiles and mastic In Rooms E101 (184 sqft), E101A (129 sqft), E103 (92 sqft), E105 (657 sqft) in Bldg. 1 3.Contractor shall install VCT flooring in all rooms abatement occurs. a.Color/Style to be provided by VA interior design department. 4.Contractor shall install 6" high vinyl wall base in all rooms abatement occurs. a.Color/Style to be provided by VA interior design department. 5.Contractor shall remove any ACM or refuse from working area in covered carts. 6.This project shall be accomplished during normal working hours. When work is in progress, the contractor shall ensure that hospital operations are not impeded. This project is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB's). All prospective contractors must be verified on the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE) website, www.vetbiz.gov, to be considered for award. The solicitation, will be posted on www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be issued on/about 02 September 2015 and closed on or about 18 September 2015. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, of the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms. The project magnitude range is less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 562910. Time for completion is 30 days after Notice to Proceed.
