Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals; the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. A solicitation is not currently available. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), is conducting market research for qualified firms (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone, 8(A) OR Small Business) capable of providing four (4) Draeger Perseus A500 anesthesia machines and and the upgrade of two (2) existing Draeger Apollo anesthesia machines or equal. All six (6) Draeger brand anesthesia machine workstations support existing Philips MP 70 anesthesia monitors. ANY "OR EQUAL" BRAND MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH AND SUPPORT THE EXISTING PHILIPS MP 70 MONITORS AND MUST HAVE EQUAL SPECIFICATIONS TO THE DRAEGER PERSEUS A500. IF RESPONDING WITH AN "OR EQUAL" BRAND YOU MUST PROVIDE THE SPECIFICATION SHEET OF YOUR SUGGESTED MODEL OR YOU WILL BE DEEMED NON RESPONSIVE. Applicable NAICS Code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a Small Business size standard of 500 Employees.
