- This is an Industry Day Notice, NOT a request for proposal. The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) will hold an Industry Day conference for the DICCE2 acquisition on September 23, 2015. DICCE2 services include installation of radiation detection and communication equipment at international land border crossings, airports and seaports. A more detailed description of the anticipated services was included in the Sources Sought Notice DE-SOL-0008449 published at FedBizOpps on May 6, 2015. The conference will be designed present DICCE2 requirements, obtain Industry feedback, provide a networking forum for all interested parties, and maximize opportunities for small business participation. The conference will be held at the Phillips Conference Center at Kirtland Air Force Base Albuquerque, New Mexico, 1750 Kirtland Dr SE, Bldg 201, on September 23, 2015, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Due to the size of the auditorium and previous expressed interest, each firm is limited to 2 attendees from the prime contractor and 1 attendee for each addi tional team member. Firms are encouraged to attend as a team. Advance registration is required. The required attendee list is posted with this announcement and must be submitted via the DICCE2 acquisition e-mail box at DICCE@NNSA.DOE.Gov by 4:00pm MDT September 14, 2015. In view of program operational requirements, attendance is limited to U.S. Citizens. Each attendee must present a valid photo I.D. (i.e. drivers license) to access the Base. Please arrive at Kirtland AFB by 7:30 a.m. to allow time for badging and security processing. Enter the Truman Gate (off Gibson Ave, map included). The Guard will verify your identity, have you sign-in, and issue you a visitors badge. The conference agenda will include briefings on the Program?s mission and scope; description of prior acquisitions; conditions particular to DICCE2 work; and DICCE2 requirements. Interested firms are encouraged to submit questions in writing to the Contracting Officer prior to the Industry Day. Question form s will be available to conference attendees as well. All questions and their answers will be posted to FedBizOpps following the conference. Further information on DICCE requirements, including a draft RFP and Statement of Work, is anticipated to be posted to FedBizOpps sites on or before September 16, 2015.
