This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) against solicitation number W912B-15-T-8009 for a commercial items acquisition for one Expanded Metal Ramp at the 110 Logistics Readiness Squadron at Battle Creek ANGB, MI. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-053 effective 04 Aug 2011. (iv) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Number is 332312 - Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing, Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. (v) The proposed acquisition consists of the following Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs): To be considered RESPONSIVE, offeror's must address all CLINs utilizing W912JB-15-T-8009 Proposal Bid Schedule. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired with MINIMUM salient characteristics: Line Item 001 - Portable Expanded Metal Yard Ramp (Quantity: 1 EA). The minimum salient characteristics required for this requested metal ramp are as follows: Weight Capacity 30,000 lb. for 10,000 lb. capacity forklift loading 8' Level Deck Ramp Length 30' Overall width 102 inches Service Width 96 inches (clearance between side curbs) 12 inch solid side curbs Adjustable Structural Support Legs Service Range 36 inch - 56 inch Front Safety support legs- spring loaded up and adjustable Automatic wheel positioning for easy mobility Kingpin attachment at base of ramp for moving ramp location 72 inch wide mechanical dock leveler with 30 inch hinged plate to float with trailer Solid full length 12 inch high solid Channel Rail Side Girders Run Off Guards Removable Handrails above 30 inch per OSHA Ships ladder Weldment - 24 inch wide with grip strut steps 4 inch wide treads 12 inch Wheel Chocks per OSHA Replaceable serrated open bar grating for traction and snow removal (vii) The requested delivery date for the above items is 30 days after delivery of contract. Please incorporate the cost of freight charges into your quote if applicable.
