Description: Amendment 0001 is issued to extend the close date to September 08, 2015 at 5:00 PM EDT due to the original close date being on a holiday. Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-15-R-00133 is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Karina Espinosa, Contracting Officer, via e-mail at karina.espinosa@faa.gov FAA has a requirement to Refurbish the LaGuardia International Airport Elevator System located at La Guardia Airport, Control Tower Building 100 Flushing, NY 11371. Performance time for the entire project is 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Please note that the NTP will not be issued until approval is received from the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) The main North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) size standard code for this requirement is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million This requirement is offered to all qualified, responsive concerns and offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The estimated construction price if between $35,000 and $75,000. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
