Description

This is NOT a solicitation. This is a PRE-SOLICITATION notice. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or about 10/6/2015 for the following services: The contractor will provide physicians who are Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). The Roseburg VA may consider accepting contract physicians Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, but those physicians must have ED experience, along with meeting all other qualification requirements listed in the solicitation. The services will be required at: The Roseburg VA Medical Center (RVAMC) 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd Roseburg, OR 97471-6513 The contract will be effective from 1/1/2016 through 12/31/2016, and it will include four 1-year option periods. Contractor physicians will work a total of approximately 9,660 hours per year under the contract. Shifts the contractor must cover include 1 day shift (8am-8pm) every day of the year, 1 night shift (8pm-8am) every day of the year, and provide coverage for up to an additional 900 hours per year to cover for VA staff physicians on leave or in training.
