****Combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby amended to add a revised subject, class code and statement of work (Rev.SOW) for further clarification of the requirement. As a result of the aforementioned edits the reponse date has been extended NO LATER THAN 10:00AM, EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME, SEPTEMBER 8, 2015. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. ***Combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby amended to add the statement of work specifications. The response date has NOT been extened as a result of this amendment. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. **Combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby amended to allow full and open competition, unrestricted. All other quotes submitted prior to this amendment will not be considered. The period of performance has been amended to reflect a new date of September 15, 2015 through October 31, 2015. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide Request for Quotes, W912PM-15-T-0036. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202(a)(13), exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses and is solicited under NAICS 238990. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $7M. This solicitation number is W912PM-14-T-0036, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. A.Description of Requirement: The Wilmington District has four vehicle bridges that require inspection with use of underbridge inspection equipment. The four vehicle bridges are located at four separate reservoir and dam projects. The bridges are located at the following projects: 1)Island Creek intake tower access bridge on the Roanoke River in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. See attached Statement of Work for additional specifications and guidance. 2)B Everett Jordan Dam intake tower access bridge on the New Hope River basin in Chatham County, North Carolina. See attached Statement of Work for additional specifications and guidance. 3)Falls Lake Dam intake tower access bridge on the Neuse River basin in Chatham County, North Carolina. See attached Statement of Work for additional specifications and guidance. 4)W. Kerr Scott Lake Dam intake tower access bridge on the Yadkin River in Wilkes County, North Carolina. See attached Statement of Work for additional specifications and guidance. 5)John H Kerr Dam Spillway Bridge, which crosses the Roanoke River in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. The bridge serves Virginia State Highway 4, which is a primary highway connecting U.S. Interstate 85 and U.S. Highway 58. See attached Statement of Work for additional specifications and guidance. Underbridge inspection equipment and services for inspection of Wilmington District vehicle bridges. The work sections shall include Chatham, Wilkes and Mecklenburg counties.
