Description: The Military Sealift Command, Special Mission Programs office, code PM2, requires a vessel to support the deployment and recovery of a target strength measurement (TSM) probe in the Dabob Bay, Keyport-Bangor Docks, test range on site at Bangor, Washington. The Period of performance is fifteen (15) days commencing 07 October 2015, and concluding 21 October 2015. Charter operation for this testing mission will only span five (5) days however; the vessel will be contracted to operate for fifteen (15) days while the programs are analyzing data and preparing hardware for operation. 17. Set-aside Status: 100% Small Business Set-Aside 18. The decision to release this solicitation as a small business set-aside is based on responses received from recent, similar contract awards, market surveys, and market knowledge.
