- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is W41G26523602 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83-2. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334419 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-09-09 12:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Pine Bluff, AR 71602 The ACC RI IS - Pine Bluff Arsenal requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Air Brake Switch Model- S&S 147412R4-H2-W ED700-S2 Ratings- Voltage and normal load current rating: 14.4kV, 900A Continuous Interrupting Ratings- 900A normal, 65,000A peak. 25,000A one-second RMS Symmetrical, 20,000A Three second RMS Symmetrical Fault closing Capability- 42,000A Two-Time Duty Cycle, 21,000A ten-Time Duty Cycle. Other Salient Features- Upright Mounted 4? x 4? Galvanized, Electric Welded Steel Tube Base. Hook Stick Operator. Hook Stick operated lockout/tagout device with padlock hasp. Wildlife protectors, snap on disc prevent animals from contacting phase. Enclosed interrupters assure no external arc. Operating cam and shunt arm arrangement with internal latch and spring mechanism that provided a consistent operating speed for the interrupters independent of the speed of the operating mechanism. Curved hookstick handle has rounded ?U shaped? pull-rings that provide a larger landing area for the hookstick. NO- External Arc Interrupter. Provided circuit interruption without external arc. Employs a specially-designed trailer and liner formulation which creates de-ionizing gases for efficient circuit interruption. Blade with Copper-Tungsten Arcing-Tip. Nickel-silver plated copper blade factory aligned to eliminate need for field adjustment. All current paths parts copper or copper-based materials. Articulating Hinge-end Terminal Pad with pivoting terminal pads to minimize loading of the blade and provide greater flexibility when making jumper connections. Stationary Jaw and Contact assembly with floating jaw contact buttons to provide even contact forces between the upper and lower jaw contacts and reduce friction during operation. Spindle and bronze Flange Bearing, stainless-Steel Shaft, and Drive lever for all-weather durability and performance. Single point Lifting Bracket. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. ACC RI IS - Pine Bluff Arsenal is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
