Description

Federal Supply Code (FSC) 1336. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 332994. U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island seeks a quantity of 405 Each, NSN: 1336-01-361-3665, empty HAWK Warhead Cases Part Number 13385473 in accordance with Technical Data Package (TDP) 13385473. FOB Destination to the end user at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), McAlester, Oklahoma. The solicitation shall be released upon an unrestricted / full-and-open basis. The Government shall reserve the right to conduct an on-site visit to the vendor's facility prior to solicitation award. During that visit, the Government will conduct a capabilities audit to ensure the quality of the product and that the required delivery schedule can be met. If a contract award is made, the Government shall reserve the right to require First Article Testing (FAT) on six (6) units in order to ensure that the TDP requirements are met accordingly. Approximate issue date for this Request for Proposals (RFP) is 18 September 2015 with the RFP closing approximately 30 days from date of issue. The request for proposals shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the RFP shall also be posted to the websites. It is the contractor's responsibility to check these websites daily for any posted changes to this notice, including the posting of the formal solicitation and TDP. All contractors who provide goods and/or services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
