- NOTE: Change due DAY from Tuesday to Thursday. Response due date REMAINS 09/03/2015. This is a market survey to identify sources capable of providing professional services and software support to assist with the management of product obsolescence in accordance with the attached Scope of Work. This service will include providing the Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC) with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) information pertaining to product life cycles and obsolescence status for system equipment. The FAALC, located at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK, provides engineering, technical and logistics services to support to the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the areas of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Product life cycle management (obsolescence), primary inventory control point, provisioning and repair of CBP equipment. The responses to this sources sought market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses capable of providing the requested part. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Name and description of product that meets the requirement of the SOW. Verification of registration in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) is current. Number of years in business. Please respond by providing the requested information and submitting a filled-out and signed copy of the Business Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below). All responses to this market survey must be received by Thursday, September 03, 2015, 2:00 p.m. CST. All submittals should be submitted by email to: Federal Aviation Administration ATTN: Bill White Email: bill.white@faa.gov NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
