Description
Price Schedule Statement of Work Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. Solicitation number F3P3BD5197AW01 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 2. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 2005-83. 3. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333517 with a Small Business size standard of 500 Employees. This acquisition is Unrestricted. 4. Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) 0001 through 0015 apply with a Quantity and Unit of Issue of 1 Each per each CLIN. The desired delivery and completion date is 45 days after receipt of order. 5. Description of Requirement: Provide all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment and supervision needed to Purchase and Install a CNC Lathe and Accessories, Haas Brand Name or Equal in accordance with attached Statement of Work and Salient Characteristics/Product Specifications. Delivery and Acceptance will FOB JBSA-Randolph, TX. 6. The following clauses and/or provisions apply to this RFQ and are included in Attachment 1 with Addenda where applicable. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, include a completed copy with the quote 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items 7. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating program does not apply to this requirement. 8. A single firm-fixed-price contract will be issued to the responsible, responsive quoter submitting the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote. See provision 52.212-2 for additional information. Enter prices on Attachment 3 Price Schedule. Round prices up to the 2nd decimal point. Quote all line items as only one contract will be awarded. If quoting an equivalent product(s) provide sufficient documentation to enable a thorough technical evaluation for product acceptability. 9. The time and date for receipt of quotes is not later than 15 September 2015 at 2:00PM Central Time. Submit quotes to the Contract Specialist, Vivian Fisher at vivian.fisher@us.af.mil with a copy to the Contracting Officer, Radames Gandia at radames.gandia.us.af.mil. Quotes may also be mailed to 502 CONS/JBKCA/ATTN: Vivian Fisher/395 B Street West, Suite 2/Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph 78150 or hand-delivered (however, offerors are cautioned of potential delays that will be encountered during base access). Quotes are to remain valid for a period of not less than 45 days and e-mail is the preferred method of transmission. 10. Quotes received after the date and time specified will be considered "late" and may not be eligible for award consideration. Note: due to periodic disruption in e-mail services on the base, it is highly recommended that any e-mail transmissions are followed up with a phone call to ensure the e-mail has been delivered and received by the intended recipient. Funds are not presently available for this action, therefore, this RFQ is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement.
