- SOLICITATION N00164-15-T-0268 - EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT - SURFACE FINISHER, OPTICAL COMPARATOR, HARDNESS TESTER AND CALIBRATION, INSTALLATION AND TRAINING FOR OPTICAL COMPARATOR - FSC 6635 - NAICS 333314 Issue Date 01 SEP 2015 - Closing Date 14 SEP 2015 - Time 2:00 P.M. EDT The proposed contract action is for (1) Horizontal Optical Comparator with calibration, installation and training; (1) Hardness Tester and (1) Surface Finisher/Tester in accordance with the specifications outlined in the RFP. The Government intends to solicit this equipment utilizing a small business set-aside. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to solicit, negotiate, and enter into a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Supply Contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the following procurement: CLIN0001 - Surface Finisher CLIN0002 - Hardness Tester CLIN0003 - Horizontal Optical Comparator CLIN0004 - Installation, Calibration and Training for Horizontal Optical Comparator Delivery: Require FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, Indiana 47522; RDD 10 weeks ARO; accelerated delivery acceptable at no additional cost. Quoters - Please note before preparing your quote, carefully review ALL SECTIONS. An acceptable quote will consist of the following: Signed SF1449 (ALL PAGES RETURNED) Pricing for CLIN 0001, CLIN 0002, CLIN 0003, CLIN 0004 Product Literature The solicitation and any attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The link to the website is https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be available for download on 01 September 2015. Closing date will be on 14 September 2015, 2:00 P.M. EDT. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment, all changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
