- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE WITH LIFE TECHNOLOGIES RFQ-DC-15-00253 NAICS: 541512 Network Systems Integration Design Services Procurement Office: United States Environmental Protection Agency, Superfund Regional Operations Division (3805R) 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004 The United States Environmental Protection Agency ¿s Superfund/Office of Research and Development Division intends to award a single sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(a)(2), Soliciting from a Single Source to Life Technologies N.A., 5781 Van Allen Way, Carlsbad, California, 92008. The items will be delivered at the following address: Office of Research and Development 26 Martin Luther King Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45268 The vendor, Life Technologies, is the only contractor, according to the project officer, that can service the equipment. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA ¿s requirement as stated below may submit a capability statement, which if received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses should include discounts and shipping costs. A determination not to compete the proposed task order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
