Description: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis notice for an Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Job Order Contract (JOC) for Repair, Maintenance, and Minor Construction services in support of the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Fort Worth District (SWF). FOR INFORMATION ONLY: This Synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming. All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS must be submitted in writing via email to the Contract Specialist as noted above. Anticipated Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts are based upon the projected requirements for the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) and the Fort Worth District (SWF). DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, has a requirement for the above subject Project. This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This is not a follow-on contract. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requires the services of a construction firm capable of managing simultaneous projects for a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work for the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) area. A detailed statement of work will be provided with the solicitation when it is posted. The scope of this acquisition includes maintenance, repair, upgrade and construction of real property facilities at CCAD. This will include a wide variety of repair and minor construction services as described below: Repair and Alteration of real and personal property facilities, e.g., maintenance, repair and minor construction services relating to the following: Mechanical Plumbing Structural Electrical Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) Instrumentation repair incidental to construction Asbestos and lead based paint abatement, and other environmental remediation incidental to the construction Anti-terrorism and force protection systems upgrades, repairs, and installation Construction of new buildings, building renovation or repair Repair of roadways, parking areas, and pedestrian walkways. Lighting installation or repair, Interior or exterior painting of buildings or structures, Storm water system improvement and repair, Other site work including site grading and drainage, landscape plantings, exterior irrigation systems, and retaining walls incidental to the construction. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The total planned contract value will be Not To Exceed $9,000,000 for a period of three (3) years, a base and two one-year options. The minimum guarantee will be awarded to the successful offeror for $2,000. Individual task orders are anticipated to range from $2,000 to $500,000 each, but may exceed $500,000 when determined to be in the best interest of the Government. NAICS: The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Size Limitation is $36.5M. The Federal Supply Class(FSC) Code is Y1AA. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This is a100% competitive HUBZone Small Business set-aside. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 15 September 2015. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Proposals are anticipated to be due on or about November 20, 2015. Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted to http://www.fbo.gov. SOLICITATION WEBSITE: The official solicitation, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fbo.gov.
