Description
This is a Request For Information for brand name or equal to the BIOplastics/CYCLERtest Flex Probe Set. The point of contact for this requirement is Ray Harris at tonja.r.harris.mil@mail.mi. Please respond no later than 10 September 2015 with your capability statement. Below are the Minimal Essential Characteristics (MECs) for 1 Flex Probe Set. The MECs are as follows: Must allow for routine monitoring of the temperature performance of a Life Technologies, ProFlex 96-Well Thermal Cycler instrument. Must be compatible with a Driftcon Temperature Performance and Drift Monitoring System. Design must be for specific PCR block types of 96 well x 0.2 ml. Must have 16 sensors, for 96 well x 0.2ml heat block (to test 16 pre-determined wells in a 96 well thermal cycler heat block). Full Flat Cable (FFC) required to validate closed PCR system. Must take dynamic measurements of key parameters (uniformity, accuracy, overshoot/undershoot, ramp rates and hold times) determined at different points in time and at different plateau levels typical of PCR protocols. Must test specific brands/types of thermal cycler blocks and compare the results obtained to market specifications for those same thermal cycler types, worldwide. Must store measurements automatically in a read-only traceable database; to comply with all GLP, CLIA, GMP, FDA, ISO regulations governing data integrity.
