- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is W9124C-15-T-2097 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83-2. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 484230 with a small business size standard of $27.50M.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-09-11 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Fort Knox, KY 40121 The MICC Fort Jackson requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: Provide all resources, except Government Furnished Property (GFP), necessary to disassemble, transport, reassemble as necessary, and install one (1) GC-130E ?clipped wing? static aircraft cargo load trainer ? Tail number 21798 from Alpenia, Michigan to Skidgel Hall which is located at Fort Knox, KY. Distance is approximately 650 miles. This shall be a turnkey operation. The aircraft structural and systems integrity shall be maintained to support a ?clipped wing? static cargo load trainer fuselage configuration with a complete and configurable cargo compartment. The contractor shall indicate the type of trailer to be used at the time of quote. The Contractor must be technically capable and demonstrate successful past performance in this technically specific trade to include two references where they have moved a C130 or similar aircraft, type of aircraft moved shall be stated. Letters of reference will not be accepted. Any subcontractor shall have experience moving an aircraft of this size. If the Contractor is using a subcontractor, the subcontractor shall also provide references where they have moved a C130 or similar aircraft. All references shall come from a contract that was performed to include: contract number if available, dollar value, the specific aircraft that was relocated, contact name, and contact email address. References shall be provided at the time of quote, failure to do so will result in the contractor being ineligible for award., 1, Job; LI 002: Contract Management Reporting (CMR) IAW PWS para. 5.3. Contractor is required to provide data on Contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) for performance of this contract IAW the PWS. The cost, if any, for providing this data shall be entered into the space provided at this CLIN. If no direct cost is associated with providing the data, enter ?No Cost?. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
