- NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Freeman Marine Equipment, 28336 Hunter Creek Road, Gold Beach, OR, 97444. The proposed contract action is for Engine Hatch Manufacture and Replacement for Assault Craft Unit Five (ACU-5). The replacement hatches must match the existing specification from technical manual drawing 990-217500 to function properly. Freeman Marine Equipment has proprietary rights to the design of these hatches. Thus the purchase of these hatches is only possible through Freeman Marine Equipment as the hatches are proprietary and only available through this manufacturer. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 332999 and the applicable business size is 750 employees. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by Tuesday, 8 September 2015, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, via email. If no responses are received, FLCSD will proceed with the sole source award. NAVSUP FLCSD POC: Joel E.
