- Amendment #3, site visit response date change Radio Frequency Antennae Tower Repair for 6 Towers. See Attachments. Revised Dates for questions deadline and proposal deadlines to accomodate site visit. Revised Performance Work Statement, see attachment. Q&A Question: Will/Can a site visit be scheduled? Answer: Yes, Site visit details are in progress. Additional information will be forthcoming. SITE VISIT 6-7 OCT 2015, 0800-1600 both days. This will be a two day site visit to view all six towers. Question: Is there a list of antennaes and equipment that is to be removed from each tower? Answer Yes Question: Where ground buss bars are installed do you want all coax lines grounded to the bus bar? Answer: Yes If so, is there a list of coax sizes and quantity per tower? Answer: No Question: Where is says properly secure feed lines, do you want the stainless clamps most commonly used in the communications industry or wire ties, tape, ty-wraps, etc? Answer: Stainless clamps Question: 2.3 BLDG 436; #2.3.1 Repair or replace all damaged/missing tower structural member(s) to include legs and braces. Is there a list of members that need replacement? Answer: No Question: Are tower drawings available for this tower? Answer: No Question: 2.5 H-Field; 2.5.1 Furnish and install ASTM 325 structural bolts. In the pictures the bolts appear to be foundation bolts at the base of the tower. Are you wanting the foundation bolt removed and/or the nut and lock washer? Answer: Replace bolt, nut and washer Question: Is there a drawing or plan on how to replace a foundation bolt? Answer: No Question: 2.4 Munson Test Course. In the pictures there is a rusted indoor cable tray used as a cable bridge and as a cable ladder up the tower. Each picture caption states replaces Cable Bridge (not to exceed 10'x10'x24'). There is no item in the SOW for this site about these items, only in the pictures. Do you want to replace the horizontal cable bridge or the cable ladder on the tower or both or no action? Answer: No requirement for the cable bridge to be replaced on the Munson Test Course Tower. Question: Section 2.3.3 How will the government evaluate the cost for this task since the vendor will not be able to identify the cost until after they have troublshoot the lights and determine if they can be repaired or will need to be replaced? Answer: Please provide seperate repair and replacement costs. AMENDMENT#2 includes Site Visit information and adjusted dates for questions and bid submission AMENDMENT #3 corrects site visit attendance response date to 29 September 2015.
