Description

100% SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation Number: VA786-15-R-0412 for the Cemetery Mowing Operations at the Natchez National Cemetery, 41 Cemetery Road, Natchez, MS 39120. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for mowing operations. The period of performance will be from Date of award through September 30, 2016, with four (4) 1-year Options, if exercised, to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2020. The Government will award this solicitation as a Firm Fixed Price Service Contract in accordance with the criteria contained in 52.212-2. The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration honors veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service to our Nation. National cemeteries are national shrines. The standards of maintenance, appearance and operational procedures performed by the contractor at this cemetery shall reflect this nation's concern for those interred there. For this reason, the contractor's strict adherence to the specifications shall be required and shall be essential. Contractor is responsible for the following: The contractor will mow the Eight (8) steepest slopes three (3) times a month. Contractor shall be paid only for the actual number of mowing performed. The estimated quantities are based on the estimated number of mowing during the respective contract periods, and multiplied by the estimated number of mowing cycles the Government anticipates will be required. The Government does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity under the contract. This acquisition is 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 561730. Size standard is $7.5 Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from Federal Business Opportunities http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or around September 03, 2015. Responses to the solicitation are due by September 23, 2015 2:00 p.m. Offeror's are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which will be available at FedBizOpps.
