Description

This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to assess the commercial marketplace for grounds maintenance services in Palo Alto, California. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The general service area covers five locations: Menlo Park Residence #1 729 18th Ave. Menlo Park, CA 94025 Menlo Park Residence #2 556 Gilbert Street Menlo Park, CA 94025 Monterey Community Based Outpatient Clinic 3401 Engineer Lane Seaside, CA 93955 Mountain View Center 1776 Old Middlefield Road Mountain View, CA 94043 Sunnyvale Center 1080 Innovation Way Sunnyvale, CA 94089 There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 561730 with Small Business size of $7.5 million. Grounds maintenance includes: A.Maintain the existing irrigation systems B.Trim and clearance prune trees, shrubs, groundcover and vines C.Mow, edge, aerate and remove thatch in turf areas D.Fertilize plant materials E.Staking and guying of trees F.Replace landscape materials, including mulch, decomposed granite, headers, as needed G.Provide weed, disease and pest control, including vertebrate pests with the exception of commensal rodents H.Prepare and properly apply pest control materials and report on type, quantity of materials applied, target pest and locations. I.Provide erosion control/mediation and pollution prevention J.Provide litter/recycling and debris removal, including graffiti removal K.Clean pedestrian structures, site furnishings, site walls and pedestrian paving L.Clean exterior site lighting fixtures, less than fourteen (14) feet in height M.Clean exterior way-finding and regulatory signs N.Clean roadways, parking lots, and parking structures O.Provide project supervision and coordinate activities with VA staff.
